Kim Rottier

Kim started jazz classes at age 10. At age 12 she was admitted to a dance high school in Israel where she trained in Classical, Contemporary, Improvisation and Choreography classes, and performed with a teen musical company.
Kim discovered a deeper passion for dance when introduced to Latin dancing in 2003 in Australia. She joined "Vida Latina", an acrobatic Salsa performance team. Soon after, she studied and performed in Australia's biggest Latin dance school "Rio Rhythmics" where she trained in Brazilian styles: Zouk, Samba, Gafieira, Bolero, Forro and Bossa Nova.
Since moving to New York in 2005, Kim has taught Salsa and Zouk at Sandra Cameron Dance Center (2005-2009) and performed at numerous Zouk Congresses and Zouk events around the world including the New York International Salsa Congress, DC Bachata Festival, Porto Seguro Zouk Congress and more.
Kim founded ZoukNY dance school in 2006, through which she is committed to sharing her joy and passion of Brazilian dance styles with her fellow NY'ers.
