Born and raised in a political family, I certainly never thought I would get involved in the world of dance.  I started Salsa dancing about a year and a half ago after friends from work dragged me to some classes.  I never liked Salsa before, and now I enjoy filling Joe's classes at Piel Canela with more and more friends from work.  Taking class eventually parlayed into an opportunity to perform with the October 2007 Recital Team with Piel Canela; an opportunity that inspired a passion in me for continuing to dance and perform in the Salsa world.  After the Recital Team experience, I joined Piel Canela as a member of the Student Team and in 2008 got promoted to the Senior team. Aside from dancing, I have owned my own business since 2002, and spend time reading, riding my motorbike, skiing and involved in the long list of other hobbies I have

 

Already, I have found great pleasure in participating in an activity I never thought I would do in my life.  I enjoy having the opportunity to show other people that if I can dance, anybody can dance!  I hope to become the best dancer I can become, and to learn how to dance beyond the choreographies.
