Born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina, otherwise known as the land of Tango, I did not experience much in the way of Salsa until I started taking lessons in New York in May 2007.  Even still, it was not until I came to Piel Canela Dance Company that I discovered my passion for the dance.

I started out taking Bachata lessons at Piel Canela and soon migrated to Salsa. I joined the Winter 2008 Recital Team, which turned out to be a wonderful learning experience.  After performing with the Recital Team a couple times in April 2008, I joined the Piel Canela Dance Company.  I am now a proud member of the Student Team, and I hope to improve my Salsa skills with this amazing group of instructors and friends.

I graduated from Hunter College in NYC with a Bachelor’s Degree in Media Studies. And now, I work for a flavors and fragrances company, within their Corporate Communications and Investor Relations department.  I live in New York’s Upper West Side, and in addition to salsa dancing, I enjoy traveling, belly dancing, reading and playing tennis.
