I was born in Bolivia (South America) in the late 1900's. At the age of 9.85, I came to the United States (not by choice) on a search of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness (so I was told). However, I got stuck in a small little town in California for 14 years. After obtaining an excellent education in the field of Engineering, developing a passion for salsa, soccer, and se..veral other things; I decided to switch my career, lifestyle, and simply leave the nest. I therefore ended up here, in NYC, still with the same search as 16 years ago (but this time by choice). For two years, I was a Technology & Process Consultant at at supposedly world class consulting firm known as "Accidenture". After realizing that I was making too much money doing something too easy, I decided to change careers. Now I make chump change doing the most difficult job possible; I'm a teacher at Taft High School, in the Bronx. I teach Mathematics and I coach soccer at a school that has the highest drop out rate in the nation (48%). I still have a passion for soccer (playing for the Manhattan Kickers), for Salsa (proud member of Piel Canela Student Group), and for se..veral other things. |
